浅葉裕文

浅葉裕文は、日本を代表するジャズギタリストの一人である。彼は、特にジョー・パスやバーニー・ケッセルといったジャズギターの巨匠たちから強い影響を受けており、その演奏スタイルは伝統的なスイングジャズやバップに深く根差している。浅葉のプレイは、温かみのあるトーンと、メロディアスで洗練されたフレーズ展開が特徴だ。テクニックに裏打ちされながらも、技巧を誇示するのではなく、常に歌心やグルーヴを重視した音楽性を持っている。ソロギターでのコードワークや、ギターアンサンブルでの的確なコンピング（伴奏）にも定評があり、教育者としても後進の指導にあたっている。

Hirofumi Asaba is one of Japan’s leading jazz guitarists. He is heavily influenced by jazz guitar legends such as Joe Pass and Barney Kessel, and his playing style is deeply rooted in traditional swing jazz and bebop. Asaba’s performance is characterized by a warm tone and melodious, sophisticated phrasing. Although backed by solid technique, his musicianship prioritizes musicality and groove over displaying virtuosity. He is highly regarded for his chord work in solo guitar and his accurate comping in guitar ensembles, and he also instructs younger musicians as an educator.
